WGTA Receive ‘Good’ Ofsted Rating
Warwickshire Garage & Transport Group Training Association Limited (WGTA) was established in 1969 and currently aims to provide a comprehensive training management service to member companies, specialising in the recruitment and development of young people through work based learning, leading to the latest nationally recognised qualifications in Automotive Service & Repair. Recently WGTA received a ‘Good’ Ofsted report which has highlighted ‘Good’ all-round (June, 2023).
Ofsted highlighted that WGTA work closely with local employers to create and execute effective curriculums and therefore this partnership ensures active employer participation in the learning journey of apprentices. It was noticed that every apprentice is paired with a dedicated mentor within the workplace, allowing them to receive exceptional support and access a diverse array of opportunities to enhance their skill set.
WGTA apprentices enjoy their learning experience and are passionate in the field of Automotive services. Ofsted stated that: ‘Apprentices are positive about their learning and enjoy their apprenticeship. They talk passionately about the new skills that they acquire. Through their studies, many apprentices develop a passion for the automotive sector.’ You can discover the full report here: 50223549 (ofsted.gov.uk).
