History of the Ladder
With Coventry & Warwickshire’s long history of innovation, re-invention and pioneering spirit, the Apprenticeship Ladder for Coventry & Warwickshire is a welcomed addition to champion the apprenticeship brand.
Apprenticeships offer a great way to combine learning new skills in the workplace, alongside underpinning knowledge gained through off the job training.
Working across a wide range of vocational sectors, including health and social care, childcare, business, management and professional services, creative industries, construction, hospitality and tourism as well as engineering and manufacturing, the Apprenticeship Ladder brings together partners from across the area to create rewarding employment and training opportunities for people of all ages.
Building on the successes of other Apprenticeship Ladders across the West Midlands, we will raise peoples’ awareness of apprenticeships and the valuable skills and knowledge they provide.
Building success for the future
The Apprenticeship Ladder’s unique position as an advocate and champion of apprenticeships, brings the right people together to create employment and training opportunities which are accessible, tailored around individual needs and combine on and off the job training which is flexible and fun. The Apprenticeship Ladder recognises the successes of people of all ages who have benefited from high quality training.
The Ladder Foundation brings together the Ladders supporting employers and apprentices throughout the Staffordshire, Black Country, Shropshire, Coventry & Warwickshire and Greater Birmingham areas.
Drawing upon collective strengths, the Ladder Foundation ensures each Ladder can take full advantage of the skill-developing opportunities and other benefits that come with taking on an apprentice.
