The Local Government Apprentice of the Year recently took place virtually. They had over 100 Level 2 and Level 3 local government apprentices from across the country taking part.
Andre Russel and his peers won the “Team Award” an amazing achievement for them starting their careers. Andre is undertaking an apprenticeship with Heart of England Training at Warwickshire County Council (WCC) as an Apprentice Community Development Worker.
WCC spoke with Andre and got the following statement “I would say to anyone thinking of joining WCC as an apprentice, just go for it! You will learn so much and I’ve been able to really develop my self-confidence”
This is an incredible achievement for Andre and Heart of England Training want to wish you a huge congratulations!
