As part of a UK study tour, Greenery and Animal staff and students from Curio, an educational organisation in the Netherlands, were keen to visit Blossomfield Campus and find out more about Animal Welfare & Veterinary Nursing students’ educational experience.
The visiting students were taken on a tour of the department before taking part in a range of animal handling activities. The visit concluded with an animal themed English session delivered by ESOL Lecturer, Amna Qureshi.
Head of School for Animal Welfare & Veterinary Nursing, Claire Powell comments: “It was great to share what we do and exchange experiences and ideas with fellow students and tutors from a similar school in Holland.
Future visit
“We have also accepted their warm welcome to complete the exchange by going to visit them in the future!”
The College houses a diverse range of animals with specialist rooms and habitats to accommodate them including barns, exotics, and aquatics rooms, plus a large outdoor area for the larger animals including goats and donkeys.
